Transitional Care Services in the Heart of a Northeast Community
The experience, dedication, compassion, and longevity of the Catholic Eldercare (CEC) staff make us an easy choice for individuals and families wanting easy access to exceptional transitional care. Nestled into a historic Northeast neighborhood with easy access from all over the Twin Cities, we are leaders in comprehensive skilled and transitional care services.
Families choose CEC for our faith-centered community, which aligns with Catholic values while honoring people of all faiths and backgrounds. Mass is offered four times a week, and there is a Christian interfaith service each week. All services are available to stream into patient resident/guest rooms. Spiritual care is provided by our chaplains, who respect all individual beliefs and practices. We also welcome external parish priests, pastors, and other spiritual leaders.
Marie Barta is the director of operations for skilled care services and is always proud to talk about her team. “They are trained to handle complex medical issues and have a high quality, compassionate approach,” she says. “Our nurses and nursing assistants care for residents/guests in post-surgical and illness recovery so they can reach their goal of going home. We provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy. And if a guest and their family feel long-term care is needed, it’s an easy transition.”
Communication with residents and family members is a high priority at Catholic Eldercare. Marie is pleased to say, “We provide consistent communication via phone, email, virtual platforms, care conferences, newsletters, and family support groups. We also have a family council that meets to discuss topics that impact residents and families in our care.
It is our honor to provide high-quality, skilled transitional care. To learn more or schedule a tour, call 612-362-2444 or click here.
